INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

For a tree to become tall, it must grow tough roots among the rocks………
Friedrich Nietzsche

I work with both men and women on an individual basis. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy with individuals. I concentrate on my clients getting better faster. My goal is for each person to find their "way" and resolve their problem as soon as possible.

I use "tapping" for trauma and sexual abuse recovery. If someone has suffered for a long time due to childhood abuse, this feeling can be overcome immediately. Tapping only takes a few minutes and changes a life instantly. The person does not have to reveal anything about the incident in order to respond to the treatment.

I also treat codependency which is the result of being raised in an alcoholic home or living presently in alcoholism. Codependency can cause a person to "lose" himself and lose touch with life. A codependent person often feels like he is so focused on another (usually the alcoholic) so much that he cannot focus upon his own life. There is hope for this condition which involves re-focusing on life and attending Alanon meetings. I myself have 28 years in the Alanon program and have studied the disease of alcoholism and codependency extensively.

Whatever problems a person thinks he or she has can be solved. It only takes time, insight, and dedication on both our parts to sort it out. Each person is endowed with innate wisdom and can, without a doubt, find his own way. I look foward to working with each of my clients, guiding and nudging them as they travel their paths to hope and self-discovery.
